Statistics for the first 3 quarters of 2024 show that Headway JSC shipped 76,678 tons of Vietnamese pangasius to countries around the world. Notably, the Brazilian market took the lead with 23,310 tons, accounting for 30% of the total market share compared to other countries, followed by the Chinese market and the EU.
According to Vietnam Customs, as of September 15, 2024, Vietnam’s pangasius exports to Brazil reached 81 million USD, up 26% over the same period last year. Brazil is Vietnam’s third largest pangasius export market, after China and the US.
